With time recording the VCR’s are made for two digit numbers so how can a VCR operate with Direct TV under these circumstances if most of their channels are triple digit?

You connect DTV to your VCR through the A/V or digital inputs instead of coax. When you program your VCR, set the channel to A/V or AUX or its equivalent.

So two days ago I turned TV on. I was kinda shocked, because I was on the channel Family Guy is usually on, and it was playing a show on the History Channel. The same show was playing on most channels. On the others, a Robert Pattinson movie would play. It was like this for every channel I tried. I pushed in the cables, and when I checked again, instead the screen was black but it was still kinda lit up, not turned-off black. And the TV lights were on and so was Directv box light. When I went into guide, it would say something like "No channels are showing in your favorites list" and I'm not in a favorites list. (Atleast I dont think I am, it's set as All Channels.) I Turned the box off for ten seconds and it still wouldn't work, and then unplugged it all and it still wouldn't work!! It's been two days now, and nothing is changing. Help??

I was hired in this company not long ago and was told i would get 40 hours guaranteed per week with them but ended up only getting about 16 and being told to take 2 weeks off because their over staffed ad they keep hiring new people each week.
can they tell me to take so much time off after i was guaranteed 40 hours per week??

I have a Dell XPS M1530 Vista Home Premium and I am trying to use a HDMI cable to watch movies. The display on the screen of the TV is great. But I just can't get audio to go to the TV from my laptop. I already tried setting the HDMI to default. I am using a Samsung TV. I am also using the HDMI cable included with my DirecTV. Is there anything wrong with that?
