@laughingcrows Setting aside the absurdly pessimistic “thousand years” prediction, they’re not claiming that DirecTV is fully immersive VR. I don’t think any reasonable viewer would presume otherwise. Fantastical elements are common in ads (frogs don’t *actually* chant “Bud-wei-ser”). It’s not deceptive when those elements are clearly not intended to be taken literally, as in this case.
