@kit2ng219 if you own an 8000 series it has full web browsing so you don’t really need a youtube app
@ehupnowthen yea thats why it’s a QWERTY its a keyboard.
can anyone tell me if this qwerty keyboard types just like a normal keyboard? I dont want to scroll onto letters like I did in the eighties with arrow selection, I want to type as i do on my laptop and get straight into the youtube listings? Does this hand set do this? Thanks Big T
I just purchased the LED 46″ und 8000 tv – with this QWERTY remote. I was hoping that I did not need two remotes.
Why does this remote not have a an option to change channels via my cable box. Can some one please tell me if I am missing something here? Why is there a second side if it can’t operate your cable box?
My Sony google tv remote could change channels. They were both Verizon Fios cable.
Q belleza!! muuuyyyy avnzada la tecnologia….. FELICITACIONES SAMSUNG
I have this remote and I do not like it much – the keys are very small and the keys do not even work in some apps like YouTube – you select leters with up/down/left/right arrow buttons from the array of letter presented on the screen.
Wouldn’t it be smarter to just use BT technology to enable users accessing this tv with a pc keyboard and mouse as an option?
can it be used for Samsung

@ijaloke
really? that sucks, the only reason i considered buying this remote if for the youtube app… that sucks, thanks anyway.
can not get it to input anything with youtube app…..I mean the remote would not work using the qwerty keypad when searching for stuffs on youtube unless you use the arrows.
Unlike Deurkl, our whole store really appreciated this video, as Samsungs original documentation had completely different instructions. Our Samsung rep wasn’t even aware of this. Mind you, this was 2 months ago and since the documentation has been fixed– but we really appreciate this.
Thanks Samsungspstv.
Shut up Deurkl.
Good job of reading the text.
